Connect
Paste this into your AI
Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, whatever you use. It tells your AI what Mino is, adds the server, opens the login in your browser, and shows your matters when it is done. Nothing to configure by hand.
Help me connect Mino to you over MCP. Mino is a platform of AI agents for lawyers, built by lawyers. Thea builds sourced timelines from case documents, Feitlijn finds and structures Dutch and EU case law, Garry analyses briefs, Gordon drafts proposals. My matters, timelines, saved case law and analyses live there. Add its remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) at https://mcp.mino.law/mcp It uses OAuth: help me sign in with my Mino account in the browser. There is no API key to paste. Client-specific steps, if you need them: https://mino.law/mcp Once connected, call workspace_list and show me my Mino matters. If you cannot see the Mino tools yet, tell me to start a new chat: Claude only loads a connector in conversations started after it was added.
Or set it up by hand
Pick your client. Every route ends with the same Mino login in your browser.
Claude Desktop and Claude.ai
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Mino and paste https://mcp.mino.law/mcp as the URL.
- Click Connect and log in with your Mino account.
- Start a new chat. Claude only loads a connector in conversations started after it was added.
Custom connectors are available on Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.
Claude Code
- Run this once in your terminal.
- Start Claude Code and type /mcp to log in.
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http mino https://mcp.mino.law/mcp
ChatGPT, via Codex
- Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml.
- Run codex mcp login mino and finish the login in your browser.
[mcp_servers.mino] url = "https://mcp.mino.law/mcp"
Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Copilot does not let you add a server yourself. Your IT admin adds Mino once, for the whole firm.
- Admin: Microsoft 365 admin center, Copilot, Connectors, Gallery, Create a new connector, Connect to MCP server. Base URL https://mcp.mino.law/mcp, authentication OAuth 2.0.
- Once rolled out, Mino shows up in your connections in Copilot. Sign in with your Mino account the first time you use it.
Microsoft asks the admin for an OAuth registration. Have them email hello@mino.law and we walk them through it.
Cursor, VS Code and other clients
- Add Mino as a remote MCP server (HTTP) using the snippet, or your client's Add server dialog.
- Log in when your client asks.

} What your AI can do
You choose per agent, when you connect, whether your AI may read, edit or run. The connection never does more than you can do in the Mino apps yourself.
| Read | Edit | Run | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Matters Your dossiers and documents | List your matters and their documents, search inside them. | Create a matter, upload documents into it. | – |
| Thea Timelines | Timelines, every event with its source, the people and their roles. | Events, markers and ranges. | Generate a timeline from the documents in a matter. |
| Feitlijn Case law | Search the corpus, open a decision, your saved case law and notes. | Save, annotate and remove decisions in a matter. | – |
| Garry Brief analysis | Analyses and gap lists. | Rename and assign analyses. | Set up and run an analysis. Approve or correct each checkpoint, one at a time. |
| Gordon Proposals | Sessions and proposals. | Save a new proposal version. Existing versions are never overwritten. | – |
| Bill Legislation | The laws and articles cited across a matter, and whether pending legislation touches them. | – | – |
Runs use AI processing on your account, on your own key if you set one, exactly as in the apps. Your AI is told to state that before it starts a run.

Try saying
In your own words. These are the ones we use.
- “List my Mino matters.”
- “Make a Thea timeline from the documents in this folder, in Mino.”
- “Read all events in the [matter] timeline. When did the limitation period start running, and why?”
- “Add that as a marker, and mark the breach period as a range.”
- “Find the recent Hoge Raad decisions on this point in Feitlijn and check them against the timeline.”
- “Run a Garry analysis on the briefs in this matter and walk me through each checkpoint.”
Only your matters, and only what you allow
The connection is built to be unable to see more than you can, not merely trusted not to.
Your own login
The connection runs under your Mino account. Your AI sees your matters and nobody else's.
Permissions per agent
When you connect, you tick per agent what your AI may read, edit or run. Widening that means reconnecting, so nothing changes silently.
One matter, if you want
Limit a connection to a single matter. Useful for a risk officer or an external consultant who should see one dossier and nothing else.
Pseudonymised stays pseudonymised
Matters you pseudonymised in Mino are served as pseudonyms through the connection unless you explicitly allow real names.
How pseudonymisation worksNo case data kept
The connection passes your request through and forgets it. It keeps metadata, never content.
Documents are copied in
When your AI builds a matter from a folder, the documents are copied into Mino. Thea reads nothing it does not hold. Your original folder is untouched.
Revoke any time
Every connection is listed in your account. Revoking one ends it immediately.
Manage connectionsQuestions
What is MCP?
An open standard that lets an AI assistant call outside tools and data. Mino speaks it, so any AI client that speaks it can reach your Mino work. You do not need to know more than that to use it.
Which AI clients work?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP with OAuth login: Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, Claude Code, ChatGPT via Codex, Cursor, VS Code and many others. Microsoft 365 Copilot works too, once your IT admin has added Mino as a connector. A local model works as well, through a client that speaks MCP.
Do I need an API key?
No. You log in with your Mino account in the browser, once per client. There is nothing to store in a config file and nothing that can leak from one.
What does it cost?
The connection is included in Mino Pro. Runs, such as generating a timeline or a Garry analysis, use AI processing on your account, on your own key if you set one, exactly as they do in the apps.
Where does my data go?
To the AI client you connected, under your login, and nowhere else. Mino does not pick the model here: you do. If you run a local or EU-hosted model, your case data never leaves that path.
Connected, but my AI does not see Mino?
Start a new chat. Claude, and most other clients, only load a connector in conversations started after it was added. An existing chat keeps the tools it opened with.
How do I disconnect?
Open app.mino.law/account/mcp and revoke the connection. It stops working immediately, in every client that used it.
