Research Folders

Research folders let you organize cases into projects — group related judgments, add notes, and chat across your collection.

  1. Open the research sidebar (left panel when logged in)
  2. Click New Folder
  3. Enter a name (e.g., “Contract Dispute - Q4 2025”, “Arbeidsrecht Research”)

Folders can be nested up to 3 levels deep.

There are two ways:

Click the Save to Folder button on any case summary. Select the target folder or create a new one.

Drag and drop cases between folders in the research sidebar. You can also reorder cases within a folder.

Click the bookmark icon on any case to star it. Starred cases appear in your dedicated Starred Cases page — a flat list of all your bookmarks, separate from folder organization.

Add notes at the folder level to record your research observations:

  1. Open a folder
  2. Scroll to the Notes section
  3. Write your notes — these are saved automatically

Useful for tracking your analysis, recording hypotheses, or noting patterns across cases.

Chat with all cases in a folder at once. Ask cross-case questions like:

  • “What do these cases have in common?”
  • “How does the burden of proof differ across these rulings?”
  • “Summarize the key holdings”

The AI draws from all cases in the folder to answer.

Pro users can upload PDFs and other legal documents directly to folders for additional context alongside case law.

  • Rename: Click the folder name to edit
  • Delete: Remove a folder (cases are not deleted, only the folder organization)
  • Reorder: Drag folders in the sidebar to change their order
